Why a Blog?

There are millions of ways to document a build/project these days. However, I wanted something that gave me more freedom, and somewhere that long-form content just looked a bit more at home. All this short-form content we get these days doesn't really suit me, and whilst I can tolerate it, I prefer something more in-depth and detailed. So, a blog seemed the right way to go. Plus, it's a little nostalgic for me, something I appreciate a bit more now that I am getting older.

To give this a little more meat on the bones, I just thought I would provide a bit more info about me. Entitled of me, I know, but if you are intrigued my name is Elliot and I am hugely into cars. To the point where my life revolves around them. Well, cars, my girl, and my dog if we are being completely honest. I have been into cars ever since I used to watch my older brother play Need for Speed Underground. Yes, the very first one without the free roam. I have the joy of working in the motor industry as a vehicle technician and somehow I'm still not bored of cars.

With the recent purchase of my Audi S3, my love for a good project has resurfaced and I plan to document every little addition on the blog along with some other bits too to keep it interesting. Or at least I hope so. So now you know, well a little anyway. But it's a start, I guess if you want to learn more you're gonna have to stick around cause there's plenty to come. Whether you're into cars or just nosey about my life, there's gonna be a mix of content posted on here weekly I guess, unless the world ends or the internet dies of course.
